Rated 4 out of 5 by from Poor Online Wording Most of my transaction went well. In fact, it was very good up until the end when everything was settled. A couple of weeks after all the papers went in, I received a "scary" email from AXA stating that if I did not pay my premium, I would lose everything. I had opted to have my premium taken from my checking account and apparently, this had not yet occurred, so a couple of weeks before AXA's "deadline," I receive that message. I called my agent and he reassured me that the bank had approved the deduction, and it was just a standard form letter from AXA. In my opinion, AXA should at least wait until the customer actually defaults before sending out messages with such language.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life Insurance Policy Satisfied with policy, but original monthly fee taken 2/23/17, and 1st month auto payment from my checking account taken out 3/13/17 (18 days later) with no notification that it would be taken out then. Fortunately I had the money in my checking account to cover it. Waiting to see when it comes out in April so I can plan for future auto payments. My suggestion would be to coordinate with customers as to the ideal date for their payment to be deducted that works best with their budget.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Contact with Financial Professional I don't have any contact with my "financial professional" since my initial financial professional, who was a friend of mine, left the company I have not had contact with anyone. I would assume that when someone leaves the company another person would pick up that account. Maybe call or send an e-mail to introduce himself or herself, but that never happened for me.

The agent was knowledgeable and understood what I was looking for and helped me to better understand my options. Also, having my lab work done in my own home was especially nice and convient.

I inherited the funds I have in this company and they did very well by my father, but I am a different type of customer. I would not recommend this company to another in my position.

The health assessment wasn't uploaded by the evaluator in a timely fashion. The website is difficult to navigate. If you wish to speak to a live person, you spend 20 minutes on the phone.
