Protection that helps make up the difference
Helps fill in the gaps by providing coverage for medical expenses you may incur, that wouldn’t be paid for under a high deductible plan
If you have a high deductible medical plan, this benefit can provide relief from high out-of-pocket costs and help cover deductibles, coinsurance and copays. You’ll have the freedom to use the payments with any medical plan without network restrictions.
What it does
Helps pay for some of the expenses that may not be covered by a high deductible medical plan. Check with your benefits representative for your company’s specific plan details.
How it works
This benefit pays a specific dollar amount for inpatient and outpatient procedures, up to a maximum amount. It doesn’t matter whether you’re in-network or out-of-network. The payment is the same.
What it doesn't do
If you have a high deductible medical plan, Deductible Insurance will pay for some, but not all, of the expenses not covered by your plan.
