This summer, AXA partnered with LPGA-USGA to host the AXA Pro-AM golf tournament, a fundraiser benefiting Girls Golf. Founded in 1989, Girls Golf is a national junior golf program that cultivates confidence building and leadership in young girls. Many LPGA tour professionals, including Girls Golf Ambassador Brittany Lincicome, joined AXA executives, financial professionals, Girls Golf members, and other guests at the tournament on June 15, 2015.
All proceeds from the AXA Pro-AM were used to support the LPGA's Girls Golf Leadership Academy. This brand new program, sponsored by AXA and held over two days (August 8-9, 2015), focused on helping 40 girls find their leadership potential through team building activities, communication skill building, and the game of golf. The Leadership Academy included a panel of five AXA female leaders that shared their personal success stories with the group.
We invite you to watch the following video that chronicles the AXA Pro-Am and the LPGA Girls Golf Leadership academy, which were both held at the GlenArbor Golf Club in Bedford Hills, New York. Hear from Girls Golf members, AXA Executives, LPGA tour professionals, and many more.
Visit the LPGA Girls Golf website for more information about the program.
