La French Touch Conference Succeeds in NY Tech Ecosystem

NEW YORK, NY – On June 24-25, AXA served as the lead sponsor and host of the second annual La French Touch Conference (#LFTConf2015) held at The AXA Center, 787 Seventh Avenue, in New York City.

More than 500 attendees gathered in The AXA Center’s auditorium to listen to a variety of speakers ranging from tech entrepreneurs to venture capitalists. An additional 7000 visitors checked in to the event online through LFTC’s live stream.

The purpose of the conference is to promote innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship both within and between the American and French ecosystems. Representatives from Facebook, OVH, Sigfox, BlaBlaCar, and many others presented their experiences and opinions on the future of tech in a global setting.

The event featured French Minister of Economy Emmanuel Macron as well as French Secretary of Digital Affairs Axelle Lemaire. AXA Strategic Ventures Partner Manish Agarwal and AXA France Head of Innovation Cédric Mathorel also served as panelists in two of the program’s segments.

To kick off the conference, Chief Marketing Officer of AXA US Priscilla Brown welcomed all attendees and participants. “Some of the greatest tech minds are here,” remarked Brown, looking around the audience.

The range and richness of topics covered in La French Touch Conference this year were made possible through the joint efforts of AXA and La French Tech. Overall, the event was a huge success—many thanks to all of the event sponsors and organizers.
