NEW YORK – AXA in the US, a leading financial protection company, today announced the 2017 AXA Achievementsm Scholarship, which will award $1.4 million in scholarships to students throughout the nation.

Through the AXA Achievementsm Scholarship, more than 300 students representing all 50 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the local communities where AXA operates will receive a one-time scholarship in the amount of $25,000, $10,000, or $2,500.  Additionally, every scholarship recipient’s high school will receive a grant for $1,000 to be used for educational development.

“We are delighted to open a new season of the AXA Achievement scholarships, which will benefit the bright young people who represent America’s future,” said Faith Frank, president of the AXA Foundation.  “We are excited to help students take the next steps in their pursuit of higher education and give back to the schools and teachers that support the students’ success.”

Qualified candidates are high school seniors who have demonstrated ambition and drive, determination to set and reach goals, and the ability to succeed in college.  Since AXA Achievementsm launched in 2003, AXA has awarded over $25 million in scholarships to more than 6,000 students across the country, making AXA one of the nation’s largest corporate providers of scholarships.
