At AXA, diversity and inclusion are embedded in our values and our practice. Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are comprised of volunteering employees and financial professionals who share an interest in various dimensions of diversity. ERGs provide employees with many development and engagement opportunities, including giving back to local communities through volunteer activities. AXA employees participate in over 80 community projects and volunteer around 5900 hours each year through AXA Hearts in Action.
For a recap of the signature events that AXA’s ERGs were involved in last year, we invite you to watch the video 2016: A Year of Engagement. Hear Mark Pearson, Chairman and CEO, AXA US, Laurent Marvy, Chief Talent Officer, AXA US, and many more discuss why ERGs are such a valuable and important part of AXA’s culture. See highlights from many of AXA’s ERG events and external partnerships, including AXA Pride’s 3rd consecutive year as a Gold Sponsor of the NYC Pride March, the ReelAbilities Film Festival sponsored by AXA ABLE (Awareness of Overcoming Barriers and creating a Lifestyle of Equality), El Museo del Barrio’s Super Sábado: Día de los Muertos! event sponsored by AXA HERO (Hispanic Employee Resource Organization) in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, and more. Watch members of AXA CARES (Creating Awareness Recognition Encouragement Support of military veterans and their families) team up with Habitat for Humanity and GI Go Fund to lend a helping hand to a family in need.
